Raeden was raised in Melbourne and has lived in Singapore and New York City. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
He is the author of the debut novel, The Degenerates (Text Publishing, AU/UK).
Recently, his stories and essays have been printed in Meanjin, Griffith Review and New Australian Fiction. His writing has also appeared in The Age, Kill Your Darlings, The Masters Review and Strangely Enough.
His work has been supported by Creative Australia, the Elizabeth George Foundation, the American Australian Association, the Ian Potter Cultural Trust and the Kittredge Fund. He has been an artist-in-residence at La Napoule Art Foundation and Yaddo.
